Experiential Learning

We believe that challenging outdoor experiences can powerfully impact a person’s intellectual, physical, spiritual, social and moral development and especially so in children. Outdoor education equips our participants with the ability to cope in a rapidly changing world, while developing skills and knowledge essential to becoming a productive member of society.

This is why our adventure camps are structured as experiential learning programs that teach by ‘doing’ and then ‘reflecting’ as a much needed addition to classroom based learning. Experiential learning has proved time and again that people learn better when subject matter relates to them personally encouraging creative thinking, improving attitudes towards learning, cultivating self-initiative and accelerating learning.
